Aceast\u0103 versiune este notat\u0103 ca av\u00e2nd un nivel de calitate preliminar alpha, nefiind destinat utiliz\u0103rii zilnice. Versiunile au fost preg\u0103tite \u00een format Flatpak \u0219i sunt disponibile \u00een depozitul beta de pe Flathub.         <\/p>\n<p>Ramura Pidgin 3 este dezvoltat\u0103 din 2011, iar \u00eenainte de aceasta a fost discutat\u0103 timp de \u00eenc\u0103 trei ani la nivel de concepte \u0219i idei. \u00cen Pidgin 3 s-a realizat tranzi\u021bia la sistemul de tipuri GObject, la bibliotecile GTK4 \u0219i Adwaita, la sistemul de build Meson, GPlugin pentru gestionarea pluginurilor, SQLite pentru stocarea istoricului conversa\u021biilor \u0219i GSettings pentru gestionarea set\u0103rilor. API-ul a fost complet ref\u0103cut. Elementele interfe\u021bei sunt definite folosind GTK Builder XML, iar pentru afi\u0219area istoricului conversa\u021biilor a fost creat\u0103 o bibliotec\u0103 personalizat\u0103 de widget-uri, Talkatu.        <\/p>\n<p>Interfa\u021ba Pidgin 3 combin\u0103 \u00eentr-o singur\u0103 fereastr\u0103 lista de contacte \u0219i chatul. Furnizarea clientului pe consol\u0103 Finch a fost oprit\u0103 (nu este exclus ca acesta s\u0103 fie readus \u00een viitor). Din protocoale, \u00een prezent se dezvolt\u0103 implement\u0103ri pentru protocoalele IRCv3, XMPP, SIP, Demo \u0219i Bonjour.
