Pentru managerul de compozitie KWin a fost propus un plugin experimental care transform\u0103 KDE \u00eentr-un mediu de birou pentru sisteme de realitate virtual\u0103. Pluginul permite crearea interfe\u021bei nu pe un monitor fizic, ci sub form\u0103 de ecrane virtuale \u00een spa\u021biul 3D, interac\u021biunea av\u00e2nd loc prin ochelari de realitate augmentat\u0103 sau c\u0103\u0219ti 3D. <\/p>\n

Este sus\u021binut\u0103 lucrul cu feroneri pliante, combinarea ecranelor fizice \u0219i virtuale, pozi\u021bionarea liber\u0103 a ecranelor \u00een spa\u021biul 3D, controlul prin intermediul tastaturii f\u0103r\u0103 a fi necesar\u0103 utilizarea mouse-ului sau a controlerelor VR, precum \u0219i un mod de urm\u0103rire a pozi\u021biei utilizatorului. Pentru randare este utilizat modulul Qt Quick 3D Xr, legat de runtime OpenXR. Ca runtime a fost testat\u0103 platforma Monado \u00een combina\u021bie cu ochelarii de realitate augmentat\u0103 Rokid Max \u0219i HP G2, precum \u0219i serverul<\/a> WiVR cu casca 3D Quest 3.

\"Plugin<\/center> <\/p>\n

Pentru organizarea introducerii este realizat dispozitivul KwinVrInputDevice, care permite mi\u0219carea pointerului similar cu mouse-ul, dar f\u0103r\u0103 a se limita la grani\u021bele zonei de ie\u0219ire. Pentru plasarea feroneri \u00een spa\u021biul 3D sunt folosite capabilit\u0103\u021bile standard ale KWin, modific\u0103ri minore fiind realizate pentru feroneri pliante \u0219i extinse prin posibilitatea de a muta feroneri \u00een afara zonei de ie\u0219ire. \u00cen acest scop sunt necesare aplicarea de patch-uri la Qt \u0219i XWayland. Majoritatea patch-urilor au fost deja acceptate \u00een baza de cod Qt \u0219i vor fi incluse \u00een versiunile 6.10.2 \u0219i 6.11, r\u0103m\u00e2n\u00e2nd neacceptate doar 4 patch-uri.
