A fost lansat\u0103 prima versiune a FRANK OS \u2014 un sistem de operare pentru computere bazate pe microcontrolerul RP2350, bazat pe FreeRTOS. Sistemul de operare suport\u0103 un mediu desktop cu interfa\u021b\u0103 grafic\u0103 \u0219i ofer\u0103 compatibilitate par\u021bial\u0103 cu interfa\u021ba POSIX. Codul surs\u0103 este scris \u00een limbajul C \u0219i este disponibil sub licen\u021ba GPL-3.0+. <\/p>\n

Echipamentele suportate includ tastaturi \u0219i mouse-uri cu interfa\u021b\u0103 PS\/2, carduri de memorie Secure Digital \u0219i ie\u0219ire video pe monitoare DVI. Este posibil\u0103 func\u021bionarea pe pl\u0103ci Raspberry Pi Pico 2 \u0219i FRANK M2. Sistemul de operare permite rularea fi\u0219ierelor executabile \u00een format ELF \u0219i asigur\u0103 compatibilitate cu aplica\u021biile pentru Murmulator OS 2. <\/p>\n

Prin intermediul planificatorului de sarcini din FreeRTOS, este implementat\u0103 o multitasking preluat cu divizarea sarcinilor pentru intrare, compunere, USB \u0219i aplica\u021bii. Este oferit un mediu desktop cu suport pentru feronerie suprapus\u0103, meniuri, o bar\u0103 de activit\u0103\u021bi cu meniul Start, mutarea obiectelor cu mouse-ul. La livrare se includ programe precum un manager de fi\u0219iere grafic, un emulator de terminal multi-tab \u0219i un interpreter de comenzi interactiv. Sistemul de fi\u0219iere utilizat este FAT32.
