Proiectul este o modificare a distribu\u021biei LibreELEC, ini\u021bial conceput\u0103 pentru crearea de centre de divertisment. Pachetele Lakka sunt disponibile pentru platformele i386, x86_64 (GPU Intel, NVIDIA sau AMD), Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi, Banana Pi, Odroid etc. Pentru instalare, este suficient s\u0103 scrie\u021bi distribu\u021bia pe un card SD sau pe un dispozitiv USB, s\u0103 conecta\u021bi un joystick \u0219i s\u0103 porni\u021bi sistemul.    <\/p>\n<p>La baza Lakka se afl\u0103 emulatorul de console de jocuri RetroArch, care ofer\u0103 emularea unei game largi de dispozitive \u0219i suport\u0103 func\u021bii avansate, cum ar fi jocurile multiplayer, salvarea st\u0103rii, \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021birea calit\u0103\u021bii imaginii jocurilor mai vechi prin intermediul shader-elor, derularea jocului \u00eenapoi, conectarea rapid\u0103 a controlerelor \u0219i streaming video.
