Proiectul rezolv\u0103 probleme similare cu sistemul proprietar Resilio Sync (fost BitTorrent Sync). Syncspirit este scris \u00een C++ \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba GPLv3. Interfa\u021ba grafic\u0103 este construit\u0103 folosind biblioteca FLTK; pentru stocarea bazei de date se utilizeaz\u0103 o baz\u0103 de date \u00eencorporat\u0103 na\u021bional\u0103, libmdbx; pentru procesarea evenimentelor se folose\u0219te un cadru de tip actor rotor. Versiunile gata sunt disponibile pentru Linux (x86_64, AppImage), Windows (se suport\u0103 Windows XP) \u0219i macOS.<\/p>\n<p>Syncspirit reprezint\u0103 o implementare independent\u0103 a protocolului de sincronizare BEP, propus de proiectul Syncthing. Datele sincronizate nu sunt \u00eenc\u0103rcate \u00een stoc\u0103ri cloud externe, ci sunt replicate direct \u00eentre sistemele utilizatorului atunci c\u00e2nd acestea apar simultan online.
