Prezen\u021ba swapchain-ului \u0219i a suprafe\u021bei Wayland \u00eenseamn\u0103 c\u0103 driverul este destinat nu doar testelor offline, ci \u0219i afi\u0219\u0103rii imaginilor \u00een mediul de feronici Linux real.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Partea de WSI pentru X11 \u0219i Windows este \u00eenc\u0103 \u00een lucru.<\/strong><br \/>\nvkCreateXcbSurfaceKHR, vkCreateXlibSurfaceKHR, vkCreateWin32SurfaceKHR \u0219i func\u021biile corespunz\u0103toare de verificare a suportului pentru prezentare sunt marcate ca WIP. Ape este aproape de Vulkan 1.0 ca acoperire, dar \u00eenc\u0103 nu este un \u00eenlocuitor universal pentru un driver Vulkan normal.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Au ap\u0103rut \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021biri recente \u00een randare \u0219i sincronizare.<\/strong><br \/>\n\u00cen istoria proiectului din 5-6 iunie sunt men\u021bionate schimb\u0103ri precum ad\u0103ugarea primitive restart, sampling-ul texturilor integer, controlul mip\/lod la selectie \u0219i implementarea semaforelor binare. Proiectul se dezvolt\u0103 activ \u00een direc\u021bia compatibilit\u0103\u021bii practice cu testele Vulkan \u0219i scenariile grafice reale.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Proiectul nu are ca obiectiv performan\u021ba.<\/strong><br \/>\nAutorul spune direct c\u0103 Ape este creat pentru studierea Vulkan \u0219i nu are ca obiectiv s\u0103 fie un driver performant sau gata pentru produc\u021bie. Ape ar trebui perceput ca un proiect de cercetare, o implementare educa\u021bional\u0103 a Vulkan \u0219i un experiment cu Zig, nu ca un competitor al Mesa RADV, ANV, NVK sau Lavapipe.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00cen esen\u021b\u0103, Ape este interesant nu pentru c\u0103 ar putea \u00eenlocui Mesa m\u00e2ine, ci pentru c\u0103 este o implementare independent\u0103 a Vulkan ICD pe Zig, cu un interpreter SPIR-V propriu, un renderer software \u0219i o acoperire deja notabil\u0103 a Vulkan 1.0. Pentru utilizatorii obi\u0219nui\u021bi, beneficiile sunt \u00eenc\u0103 limitate, dar pentru dezvoltatorii de drivere, autorii de runtime-uri \u0219i cei care studiaz\u0103 arhitectura intern\u0103 a
