Proiectul AlmaLinux a anun\u021bat certificarea distribu\u021biei prin programul de conformitate cu nivelul de securitate Common Criteria EAL1 (Evaluation Assurance Level 1). Certificatul a fost ob\u021binut pentru lansarea AlmaLinux 9.2. EAL1 este nivelul ini\u021bial de certificare \u0219i atest\u0103 c\u0103 a trecut un test independent al func\u021bionalit\u0103\u021bii declarate. EAL1 confirm\u0103 succesul verfic\u0103rii func\u021bionalit\u0103\u021bii \u0219i este destinat domeniilor \u00een care amenin\u021b\u0103rile la adresa securit\u0103\u021bii nu sunt severe. Certificarea poate fi necesar\u0103 pentru utilizarea AlmaLinux \u00een structuri financiare, institu\u021bii de stat \u0219i militare din 36 de \u021b\u0103ri.
