Codul proiectului este distribuit sub licen\u021ba GPLv2. \u00cen noua versiune au fost eliminate 9 vulnerabilit\u0103\u021bi care pot duce la executarea de cod cu drepturi de root atunci c\u00e2nd sunt procesate parti\u021bii sau imagini de disc formate special cu FS NTFS.     <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-46569 \u2014 overflow de buffer \u00een func\u021bia ntfs_ib_copy_tail(), cauzat de absen\u021ba unei verific\u0103ri a intervalului valid de valori. Vulnerabilitatea poate duce la execu\u021bia de cod cu drepturi de root prin crearea unui fi\u0219ier \u00eentr-un director special configurat dup\u0103 montarea unei imagini NTFS modificate de atacator.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-42617 \u2014 overflow de buffer \u00een func\u021bia ntfs_ir_to_ib(), care poate duce la execu\u021bia de cod cu drepturi de root prin crearea unui fi\u0219ier \u00een director dup\u0103 montarea unei imagini NTFS special modificate.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-42618 \u2014 overflow de buffer \u00een func\u021bia ntfs_decompress(), care poate duce la execu\u021bia de cod cu drepturi de root prin citirea unui fi\u0219ier special configurat dup\u0103 montarea unei imagini NTFS modificate de atacator.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-46570 \u2014 overflow de buffer \u00een func\u021bia ntfs_index_walk_down(), care poate duce la execu\u021bia de cod cu drepturi de root la accesarea metadatelor unui fi\u0219ier dup\u0103 montarea unei imagini NTFS special configurate.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-46572 \u2014 overflow de buffer \u00een func\u021bia ntfs_ib_cut_tail(), care poate duce la execu\u021bia de cod cu drepturi de root prin crearea unui fi\u0219ier \u00eentr-un director dup\u0103 montarea unei imagini NTFS modificate cu un index corupt.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-56135 \u2014 overflow de buffer \u00een func\u021bia build_inherited_id(), care poate duce la execu\u021bia de cod cu drepturi de root prin crearea unui fi\u0219ier dup\u0103 montarea unei imagini NTFS special configurate cu metadate ACL incorecte \u00een director.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-42616 \u2014 overflow de buffer \u00een utilitarul ntfscat, care poate duce poten\u021bial la execu\u021bia de cod \u00een urma citirii unor imagini NTFS special configurate.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-46571, CVE-2026-56136 \u2014 citire dintr-o zon\u0103 din afara bufferului alocat \u00een timpul analizei leg\u0103turilor simbolice \u0219i manipul\u0103rii fi\u0219ierelor dup\u0103 montarea unei imagini NTFS modificate de atacator.
