Proiectul OpenBSD a publicat o corectare pentru vulnerabilitatea (CVE-2026-57589) din nucleu, care afecteaz\u0103 implementarea apelurilor de sistem pentru lucrul cu semaforii System V (sem). Problema este cauzat\u0103 de accesarea unei memorie deja eliberate \u00een func\u021bia sys_semget() \u0219i poate fi exploatat\u0103 pentru a ob\u021bine drepturi de root de c\u0103tre un utilizator local neprefinalizat \u00een configura\u021bia implicit\u0103. <\/p>\n

Corectarea a fost inclus\u0103 \u00een codul surs\u0103 OpenBSD-current pe 23 mai, dar pentru versiunile deja lansate, patch-urile au fost publicate doar ast\u0103zi. Erorile au fost prezente \u00een cod de 23 de ani \u0219i au fost identificate \u00een cadrul ini\u021biativei Patch the Planet, care verific\u0103 proiectele deschise cu modele AI de la OpenAI. <\/p>\n
