Distribu\u021bia este bazat\u0103 pe codul surs\u0103 FreeBSD, folosind contribu\u021biile proiectului m0n0wall \u0219i filtrul de pachete pf. Pentru a desc\u0103rca noua versiune, ar trebui s\u0103 folosi\u021bi installer-ul.      <\/p>\n<p>Gestionarea distribu\u021biei se face prin intermediul unei interfe\u021be web. Pentru a permite utilizatorilor s\u0103 acceseze re\u021beaua fix\u0103 \u0219i wireless, poate fi utilizat Captive Portal, NAT, <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/ro\/vpn\/\"   title=\"VPN\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">VPN<\/a> (IPsec, OpenVPN) \u0219i PPPoE. Este sus\u021binut un spectru larg de func\u021bionalit\u0103\u021bi pentru limitarea l\u0103\u021bimii de band\u0103, limitarea num\u0103rului de conexiuni simultane, filtrarea traficului \u0219i crearea de configura\u021bii redundante bazate pe CARP. Statistica de func\u021bionare este afi\u0219at\u0103 sub form\u0103 de grafice sau \u00een format tabelar. Este suportat\u0103 autentificarea prin baza de date local\u0103 de utilizatori, precum \u0219i prin RADIUS \u0219i LDAP.       <\/p>\n<p>Modific\u0103ri principale:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Componentele sistemului de baz\u0103 au fost actualizate la FreeBSD 16-CURRENT.
