Pentru a minimiza riscurile \u00een cazul repet\u0103rii unor incidente similare, proprietarilor de domenii li se recomand\u0103 s\u0103 organizeze un monitorizare constant\u0103 a jurnalelor publice CT (Certificate Transparency) pentru a detecta emiterea neautorizat\u0103 de certificate. \u00cen DNS, se recomand\u0103 ad\u0103ugarea \u00eenregistr\u0103rilor CAA (Certification Authority Authorization), care definesc lista autorit\u0103\u021bilor de certificare permise s\u0103 emit\u0103 certificate pentru domeniul specificat. Stabilirea unei \u00eenregistr\u0103ri DNS CAA nu va proteja \u00eempotriva solicit\u0103rii unui certificat dup\u0103 modificarea DNS, dar dup\u0103 rec\u0103p\u0103tarea controlului asupra DNS va preveni emiterea repetat\u0103 de certificate de c\u0103tre atacatori, folosind datele cache pentru verificarea de\u021binerii domeniului.
