Furtul documentelor este atribuit unui hacker, identificat pe Twitter sub pseudonimul @0x55Taylor. El a decis s\u0103 publice documentele furate pe internet dup\u0103 ce toate \u00eencerc\u0103rile de a contacta Ambasada Mexicului au fost ignorate de diploma\u021bi. \u00cen cele din urm\u0103, fi\u0219ierele au fost retrase din accesul public de c\u0103tre proprietarul stoc\u0103rii \u00een cloud, unde hackerul le-a plasat.
