Demonul de gestionare \u0219i utilitarele Shepherd sunt scrise \u00een limbajul Guile (una dintre implement\u0103rile limbajului Scheme), care este utilizat \u0219i pentru a defini set\u0103rile \u0219i parametrii de pornire ai serviciilor.
