Avansurile proiectului <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/tildearrow\/kwin-lowlatency\">sunt distribuite<\/a><\/noindex> sub licen\u021ba GPLv2.<br \/>\nPentru Arch Linux, \u00een AUR este disponibil un PKGBUILD gata. \u00cen Gentoo, se preg\u0103te\u0219te o op\u021biune pentru a compila KWin cu patch-uri lowlatency.<\/p>\n<p>Noua versiune se remarc\u0103 prin suportul oferit sistemelor cu pl\u0103ci grafice NVIDIA. Codul DRM VBlank a fost \u00eenlocuit cu utilizarea glXWaitVideoSync pentru a oferi protec\u021bie \u00eempotriva apari\u021biei rupturilor \u00een timpul red\u0103rii (tearing) f\u0103r\u0103 a afecta negativ reac\u021bia.
