IPFire se distinge printr-un proces de instalare extrem de simplu \u0219i prin organizarea set\u0103rilor printr-o interfa\u021b\u0103 web intuitiv\u0103, bogat\u0103 \u00een grafice vizuale. Dimensiunea instala\u021biei <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/downloads.ipfire.org\/release\/ipfire-2.23-core131\">imaginii iso<\/a><\/noindex> este de 256 MB (x86_64, i586, ARM).<\/p>\n<p>Sistemul este modular, pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 func\u021biile de baz\u0103 ale filtr\u0103rii pachetelor \u0219i gestion\u0103rii traficului, IPFire dispune de module pentru implementarea unui sistem de prevenire a atacurilor bazat pe Suricata, pentru crearea unui server de fi\u0219iere (Samba, FTP, NFS), server de po\u0219t\u0103 (Cyrus-IMAPd, Postfix, Spamassassin, ClamAV \u0219i Openmailadmin) \u0219i server de imprimare (CUPS), organizarea unei interfe\u021be VoIP pe baza Asterisk \u0219i Teamspeak, crearea unui punct de acces wireless, organizarea unui server de audio \u0219i video \u00een flux (MPFire, Videolan, Icecast, Gnump3d, VDR). Pentru instalarea addon-urilor \u00een IPFire se folose\u0219te un manager de pachete special, Pakfire. <\/p>\n<p>\u00cen noua versiune:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost prezentat un nou sistem de prevenire a intruziunilor (IPS) care suport\u0103 modul de inspec\u021bie profund\u0103 a pachetelor de re\u021bea \u0219i asigur\u0103 identificarea posibilelor amenin\u021b\u0103ri.
