Lansarea se bazeaz\u0103 pe baza de pachete Debian cu \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021biri de la proiectul antiX \u0219i numeroase aplica\u021bii proprii care faciliteaz\u0103 configurarea \u0219i instalarea software-ului. Desktopul Xfce este oferit \u00een mod implicit. Pentru <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/mxlinux.org\/download-links\">desc\u0103rcare<\/a><\/noindex> sunt disponibile versiuni pe 32 \u0219i 64 de bi\u021bi, cu dimensiunea de 1.4 GB (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/downloads.sourceforge.net\/mx-linux\/MX-18.3_x64.iso\">x86_64<\/a><\/noindex>, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/downloads.sourceforge.net\/mx-linux\/MX-18.3_386.iso\">i386<\/a><\/noindex>).<\/p>\n<p>Noua lansare a realizat sincronizarea bazei de pachete cu Debian 9.9 (stretch), \u00eemprumut\u00e2nd unele pachete din repositoarele recente antiX \u0219i MX. Versiunile programelor au fost actualizate, iar kernelul Linux a fost actualizat la versiunea 4.19.37 cu patch-uri pentru protec\u021bia \u00eempotriva vulnerabilit\u0103\u021bii <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=50684\">zombieload<\/a><\/noindex> (pentru instalare este disponibil \u0219i nucleul linux-image-4.9.0-5 din Debian, nucleul poate fi ales \u00een interfa\u021ba MX-PackageInstaller-&gt;Aplica\u021bii populare). <\/p>\n<p>Din proiectul antiX au fost transferate toate func\u021bionalit\u0103\u021bile legate de rularea \u00een modul LiveUSB, inclusiv instrumentele pentru salvarea datelor dup\u0103 repornire \u0219i op\u021biunile de configurare a compozi\u021biei mediului Live. Instalatorul mx-installer (bazat pe <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/gazelle-installer\">gazelle-installer<\/a><\/noindex>), a fost reproiectat, ad\u0103ug\u00e2nd capacitatea
