Schimbarea va intra \u00een vigoare \u00eencep\u00e2nd cu versiunea 6.3, a\u0219teptat\u0103 pe 7 august. Motivul invocat este cererea sc\u0103zut\u0103 pentru astfel de versiuni, care nu justific\u0103 resursele cheltuite pentru compilare, testare, \u00eentre\u021binere \u0219i distribu\u021bie. Majoritatea utilizatorilor Linux instaleaz\u0103 LibreOffice din distribu\u021bii, nu \u00eel descarc\u0103 de pe site-ul principal al proiectului.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen codul surs\u0103, suportul pentru sistemele de 32 de bi\u021bi va fi p\u0103strat, astfel \u00eenc\u00e2t distribu\u021biile Linux vor putea continua s\u0103 ofere pachete de 32 de bi\u021bi cu LibreOffice, iar entuzia\u0219tii \u00ee\u0219i vor putea construi versiuni mai noi din sursele originale, dac\u0103 este necesar. Nu vor mai exista versiuni oficiale de 32 de bi\u021bi pentru Linux (pentru Windows, versiunile de 32 de bi\u021bi vor continua s\u0103 fie publicate f\u0103r\u0103 modific\u0103ri).
