Cu JPype, din Python se pot utiliza biblioteci specifice Java, cre\u00e2nd aplica\u021bii hibride care combin\u0103 codul Java \u0219i Python. Codul proiectului este distribuit sub licen\u021ba Apache 2.0.<\/p>\n<p>Spre deosebire de Jython, integrarea cu Java nu se face prin crearea unei variante Python pentru JVM, ci prin interac\u021biunea la nivel de ambele ma\u0219ini virtuale, folosind memorie partajat\u0103. Abordarea propus\u0103 permite nu doar ob\u021binerea unei performan\u021be bune, ci \u0219i accesul la toate bibliotecile CPython \u0219i Java. \u00cen aceast\u0103 nou\u0103 versiune, codul modulului principal a fost complet rescris, s-a ad\u0103ugat suport pentru<br \/>\nfirele de execu\u021bie neata\u0219ate, s-a \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bit securitatea, s-a asigurat translatarea
