La \u0219apte ani de la ultima lansare semnificativ\u0103 la sf\u00e2r\u0219itul anului 2019. Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 protocoalele ActivityPub \u0219i diaspora, Hubzilla se federeaz\u0103 \u00een cadrul re\u021belei prin propriul s\u0103u protocol<\/a><\/noindex> lansarea sistemului de management al pachetelor GNU Stow 2.3.0<\/a><\/noindex>, care folose\u0219te linkuri simbolice pentru a separa \u00een directoare distincte con\u021binutul pachetelor \u0219i datele aferente. Codul Stow este scris \u00een Perl \u0219i, \u00eencep\u00e2nd cu aceast\u0103 versiune, este distribuit sub licen\u021ba GPLv3 (anterior a fost aplicat\u0103 licen\u021ba GPLv2).<\/p>\n

Stow adopt\u0103 o abordare simpl\u0103 \u0219i diferit\u0103 de managerii de pachete tradi\u021bionali pentru plasarea pachetelor: toate componentele asociate cu programul sunt instalate prin mijloace standard \u00eentr-un subdirector separat \u00een directorul \/usr\/local\/stow (de exemplu, \/usr\/local\/stow\/emacs). Sarcina lui Stow este s\u0103 plaseze linkuri simbolice \u00een structura directoarelor sistemului \/usr\/local \u0219i s\u0103 efectueze controlul integrit\u0103\u021bii acestora. <\/p>\n

La dezinstalarea unui pachet, toate linkurile simbolice aferente sunt eliminabile. \u00cen interiorul directorului \/usr\/local\/stow, fi\u0219ierele programelor instalate r\u0103m\u00e2n neschimbate, Stow opereaz\u0103 doar cu linkuri simbolice.
\nPe l\u00e2ng\u0103 gestionarea pachetelor de sistem, ofer\u0103 posibilitatea de a gestiona programele \u0219i fi\u0219ierele de configurare (~\/.bashrc, ~\/.zshrc etc.) \u00een directorul de acas\u0103 al utilizatorului.<\/p>\n

\u00cen preg\u0103tirea noului release, aten\u021bia a fost concentrat\u0103 pe simplificarea instal\u0103rii, motiv pentru care unele module (texi2html) au fost excluse din lista de dependen\u021be.
