GNU Radio este un set de programe \u0219i biblioteci care permit crearea de sisteme radio arbitrare, scheme de modulare \u0219i forme ale semnalelor primite \u0219i transmise, definite programatic, iar pentru captarea \u0219i generarea semnalelor se folosesc cea mai simpl\u0103 echipamente hardware. Proiectul <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/gnuradio\/gnuradio\">se r\u0103sp\u00e2nde\u0219te<\/a><\/noindex> este furnizat sub licen\u021ba GPLv3. Majoritatea componentelor GNU Radio sunt scrise \u00een Python, iar p\u0103r\u021bile critice pentru performan\u021b\u0103 \u0219i laten\u021b\u0103 sunt scrise \u00een C++, ceea ce permite utilizarea pachetului \u00een rezolvarea problemelor \u00een timp real.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cempreun\u0103 cu receptoarele \u0219i emitatoarele programabile universale, nelegate de banda de frecven\u021b\u0103 \u0219i de tipul de modulare a semnalului, platforma poate fi folosit\u0103 pentru a crea dispozitive precum sta\u021bii de baz\u0103 pentru re\u021bele GSM, dispozitive pentru citirea la distan\u021b\u0103 a etichetelor RFID (carte de identitate electronic\u0103 \u0219i permise, carduri smart), receptoare GPS, WiFi, receptoare \u0219i emi\u021b\u0103toare FM radio, decodoare TV, radare pasive, analizatoare de spectru etc. Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 USRP, pachetul poate utiliza \u0219i alte componente hardware pentru intrarea \u0219i ie\u0219irea semnalelor, cum ar fi <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/wiki.gnuradio.org\/index.php\/Hardware\">sunt disponibile<\/a><\/noindex> drivere pentru pl\u0103ci de sunet, tunere TV, dispozitive BladeRF, Myriad-RF, HackRF, UmTRX, Softrock, Comedi, Funcube, FMCOMMS, USRP \u0219i S-Mini. <\/p>\n<p>De asemenea, este inclus un set de filtre, codecuri canal, module de sincronizare, demodulatori, egalizatoare, codecuri vocale, decodoare \u0219i alte elemente necesare pentru crearea sistemelor radio. Au fost actualizate cerin\u021bele pentru versiunile dependen\u021belor CMake, GCC, MSVC, Swig, Boost.
