Sarcinile efectuate de acest distribuitor sunt similare cu produsul proprietar Norton Ghost. Dimensiunea <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/clonezilla\/files\/clonezilla_live_stable\/2.6.3-7\/\">imaginii iso<\/a><\/noindex> distribu\u021bie &#8212; 265 Mb (i686, amd64).<\/p>\n<p>Distribuitorul se bazeaz\u0103 pe Debian GNU\/Linux \u0219i utilizeaz\u0103 \u00een activitatea sa coduri de la proiecte precum DRBL, Partition Image, ntfsclone, partclone, udpcast. Este posibil\u0103 bootarea de pe CD\/DVD, USB Flash \u0219i re\u021bea (PXE). Sunt acceptate LVM2 \u0219i sistemele de fi\u0219iere ext2, ext3, ext4, reiserfs, xfs, jfs, FAT, NTFS, HFS+ (macOS), UFS, minix \u0219i VMFS (VMware ESX). Exist\u0103 un mod de clonare \u00een mas\u0103 prin re\u021bea, inclusiv cu transmiterea traficului \u00een modul multicast, permi\u021b\u00e2nd clonarea simultan\u0103 a discului surs\u0103 pe un num\u0103r mare de ma\u0219ini client. Poate fi realizat\u0103 at\u00e2t clonarea de pe un disc pe altul, c\u00e2t \u0219i crearea de backup-uri prin salvarea imaginii discului \u00eentr-un fi\u0219ier. Clonarea se poate face la nivelul \u00eentregilor discuri sau al partitiilor individuale.<\/p>\n<p>Noua versiune a fost sincronizat\u0103 cu baza de pachete Debian Sid din data de 3 septembrie. Kernelul Linux a fost actualizat la versiunea 5.2. (era 4.19), pachetul Partclone la versiunea 0.3.13+git0819-2f1830e-drbl1, live-tools la versiunea 20190627, iar partclone-utils la starea din depozitul din 29 august. Modulul zfs-fuse, care nu a mai fost actualizat de mult, a fost eliminat din livrare. Pentru suportul mont\u0103rii ZFS se poate utiliza openzfs, disponibil \u00een <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/clonezilla.org\/downloads.php\">versiuni alternative<\/a><\/noindex> Clonezilla Live bazat pe Ubuntu.
