Componentelor respective li s-au g\u0103sit \u00eenlocuitori bazati pe <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/developer.mozilla.org\/en-US\/docs\/Web\/Web_Components\">Web Components<\/a><\/noindex>, scrise cu tehnologii web obi\u0219nuite.<\/p>\n<p>XBL a fost utilizat pentru organizarea func\u021bion\u0103rii interfe\u021bei Firefox \u0219i a permis crearea de leg\u0103turi care schimbau comportamentul widget-urilor scrise \u00een XUL. \u00cen 2017, compania Mozilla a clasificat XBL \u0219i XUL ca fiind \u00eenvechite \u0219i a \u00eencetat suportul pentru extensiile scrise folosind aceste tehnologii \u00een Firefox 57. \u00cen acela\u0219i timp <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/briangrinstead.com\/blog\/xbl-in-firefox\/\">a \u00eenceput lucrul<\/a><\/noindex> s-a lucrat la rescrierea componentelor legate de XBL\/XUL din Firefox. Ultimele componente ale interfe\u021bei legate de XBL au fost bara de adrese \u0219i managerul de extensii, care au fost \u00eenlocuite cu noi implement\u0103ri \u00een Firefox
