Implicit, GhostBSD folose\u0219te sistemul de ini\u021bializare OpenRC \u0219i sistemul de fi\u0219iere ZFS. Este suportat at\u00e2t modul Live, c\u00e2t \u0219i instalarea pe hard disk (se folose\u0219te un instalator propriu ginstall, scris \u00een Python).
