Dimensiunea imaginii de boot <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/project-trident.org\/void\/Trident-BETA-netinstall-x86_64.iso\">imaginii iso<\/a><\/noindex> 515MB. \u00cen construc\u021bie se folose\u0219te ZFS pe parti\u021bia principal\u0103, exist\u0103 posibilitatea de a reveni la mediul de boot prin instantanee ZFS, se livreaz\u0103 un installer simplificat, este posibil s\u0103 func\u021bioneze pe sisteme cu EFI \u0219i BIOS, este posibil\u0103 criptarea parti\u021biei de swap, sunt propuse op\u021biuni pentru pachetele de biblioteci standard glibc \u0219i musl, pentru fiecare utilizator se creeaz\u0103 un dataset ZFS separat pentru directorul de acas\u0103 (se pot manipula instantaneele directorului de acas\u0103 f\u0103r\u0103 a ob\u021bine drepturi de root), asigur\u00e2ndu-se criptarea datelor \u00een directoarele utilizatorilor.<\/p>\n<p>Sunt propuse mai multe niveluri de instalare: Void (setul de pachete de baz\u0103 Void plus pachete pentru suport ZFS), Server (func\u021bionare \u00een modul console pentru servere), Lite Desktop (desktop minim bazat pe Lumina), Full Desktop (desktop complet bazat pe Lumina, cu aplica\u021bii suplimentare de birou, comunicare \u0219i multimedia). Printre limit\u0103rile versiunii beta se num\u0103r\u0103 lipsa unei interfe\u021be grafice de utilizator pentru configurarea desktopului, utilitarele specifice Trident nefiind portate, iar instalatorul nu dispune de modul de parti\u021bionare manual\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>S\u0103 reamintim c\u0103, \u00een octombrie, proiectul Trident <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51692\">a anun\u021bat<\/a><\/noindex> a migrat de la FreeBSD \u0219i TrueOS pe Linux.
