Se men\u021bioneaz\u0103 c\u0103, la momentul elimin\u0103rii GCC, toate platformele care nu suportau Clang au fost migrate pentru a utiliza instrumente de construc\u021bie externe, instalate din porturi. \u00cen sistemul de baz\u0103 era inclus\u0103 o versiune \u00eenvechit\u0103 a GCC 4.2.1 (integrarea versiunilor mai noi a fost imposibil\u0103 din cauza trecerii la GPLv3, care a fost considerat\u0103 inacceptabil\u0103 pentru componentele de baz\u0103 ale FreeBSD). <\/p>\n<p>Versiunile actuale ale GCC, inclusiv <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.freshports.org\/lang\/gcc9\/\">GCC 9<\/a><\/noindex>, la fel ca \u00eenainte, pot fi instalate din pachete \u0219i porturi. GCC din porturi este, de asemenea, recomandat pentru a construi FreeBSD pe arhitecturi care depind de GCC \u0219i nu pot trece la Clang.
