ttf-parser<\/a> — aceasta este o bibliotec\u0103 pentru analiza fonturilor TrueType\/OpenType.<\/noindex>
\nNoua versiune include suport complet pentru fonturi variabile.

P\u00e2n\u0103 de cur\u00e2nd, dac\u0103 era necesar\u0103 lucrul cu fonturi TrueType, existau exact dou\u0103 op\u021biuni: FreeType \u0219i stb_truetype. Prima este un motor imens, iar a doua suport\u0103 un num\u0103r destul de limitat de func\u021bii.<\/p>\n

ttf-parser se afl\u0103 undeva la mijloc. Suport\u0103 toate acelea\u0219i tabele TrueType (formatul TrueType este compus din numeroase tabele binare separate) ca \u0219i FreeType, dar nu se ocup\u0103 cu redarea glyph-urilor.<\/p>\n

  2. ttf-parser este singura implementare sigur\u0103 (memory-safe). Citirea memoriei arbitrare este imposibil\u0103. FreeType corecteaz\u0103 constant vulnerabilit\u0103\u021bile, iar stb_truetype nu este destinat citirii fonturilor arbitrare.<\/li>\n
  3. ttf-parser este singura implementare thread-safe. Toate metodele de analiz\u0103 sunt constante. Singura excep\u021bie este setarea coordonatelor pentru fonturile variabile, dar aceast\u0103 func\u021bie este reentrant\u0103. FreeType este \u00een principiu single-threaded. stb_truetype — reentrant (se pot folosi copii separate \u00een diferite thread-uri, dar nu una din mai multe).<\/li>\n
  4. ttf-parser este singura implementare care nu folose\u0219te alocarea \u00een «heap». Acest lucru permite accelerarea analizei \u0219i evitarea problemelor \u00een caz de OOM.<\/li>\n
