Vulnerabilitatea se manifest\u0103 \u00eencep\u00e2nd cu versiunea 1.6.0. Ca solu\u021bie temporar\u0103 de protec\u021bie, se poate dezactiva protocolul binar pentru cererile externe prin lansarea cu op\u021biunea &#171;-B ascii&#187;.<\/p>\n<p>Problema este cauzat\u0103 de o eroare \u00een <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/memcached\/memcached\/commit\/02c6a2b62ddcb6fa4569a591d3461a156a636305\">cod<\/a><\/noindex> analiza antetului protocolului binar, legat\u0103 de determinarea incorect\u0103 a dimensiunii datelor copiate \u00een buffer la apelarea func\u021biei memcpy (dimensiunea este determinat\u0103 pe baza parametrului specificat \u00een antetul cererii). Prin manipularea valorii parametrului din antetul protocolului binar, un atacator care are capacitatea de a se conecta la portul de re\u021bea Memcached poate ini\u021bia o dep\u0103\u0219ire a
