O caracteristic\u0103 a sistemului este c\u0103 utilizatorilor li se ofer\u0103 anonimat, dar v\u00e2nz\u0103torii nu sunt anonimi pentru a asigura transparen\u021ba \u00een raportarea fiscal\u0103, adic\u0103 sistemul nu permite urm\u0103rirea informa\u021biilor despre unde \u00ee\u0219i cheltuie utilizatorul banii, dar ofer\u0103 mijloace pentru a urm\u0103ri veniturile (expeditorul r\u0103m\u00e2ne anonim), ceea ce rezolv\u0103 problemele de audit fiscal specifice Bitcoin. Formatul bazei de date ofer\u0103 posibilitatea verific\u0103rii tuturor tranzac\u021biilor efectuate \u0219i confirm\u0103rii coeren\u021bei acestora. Confirmarea pl\u0103\u021bii pentru v\u00e2nz\u0103tori este o dovad\u0103 criptografic\u0103 a transferului \u00een cadrul contractului \u00eencheiat cu clientul \u0219i o confirmare semnat\u0103 criptografic privind disponibilitatea fondurilor la punctul de schimb. GNU Taler include un set de componente de baz\u0103 care ofer\u0103 logica pentru func\u021bionarea b\u0103ncii, punctului de schimb, pie\u021bei, portofelului \u0219i auditorului.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen
