Programul este scris \u00een C++ folosind Qt, QXmpp \u0219i cadrul <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=46475\">Kirigami<\/a><\/noindex> \u0219i <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/invent.kde.org\/kde\/kaidan\">se r\u0103sp\u00e2nde\u0219te<\/a><\/noindex> sub licen\u021ba GPLv3. Versiunile <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kaidan.im\/2020\/04\/06\/kaidan-0.5.0\/#download\">sunt preg\u0103tite<\/a><\/noindex> pentru Linux (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/download.kde.org\/stable\/kaidan\/0.5.0\/kaidan-0.5.0.x86_64.AppImage\">AppImage<\/a><\/noindex>), <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/download.kde.org\/stable\/kaidan\/0.5.0\/kaidan-0.5.0.x86_64.macos.tar\">macOS<\/a><\/noindex> \u0219i <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/download.kde.org\/stable\/kaidan\/0.5.0\/kaidan-0.5.0.armhf.apk\">Android<\/a><\/noindex> (versiune experimental\u0103). Publicarea versiunilor pentru Windows \u0219i \u00een format Flatpak este \u00eent\u00e2rziat\u0103. Pentru construc\u021bie sunt necesare Qt 5.12 \u0219i QXmpp 1.2 (suportul pentru Ubuntu Touch a fost oprit din cauza versiunii \u00eenvechite de Qt).<\/p>\n<p>Noua versiune <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kaidan.im\/2020\/01\/08\/Easy-Registration\/\">a devenit<\/a><\/noindex> mai prietenoas\u0103 pentru utilizatorii noi XMPP \u0219i ofer\u0103 un nivel mai ridicat de securitate f\u0103r\u0103 eforturi suplimentare din partea utilizatorului.
