Implementarea Mcron con\u021bine de trei ori mai pu\u021bine linii de cod dec\u00e2t Vixie cron. Mcron poate fi rulat f\u0103r\u0103 privilegii root pentru a gestiona sarcinile utilizatorului curent (utilizatorul poate s\u0103-\u0219i lanseze propriul daemon mcron).<\/p>\n<p>O caracteristic\u0103 cheie a proiectului este abordarea diferit\u0103 \u00een organizarea planific\u0103rii execu\u021biei sarcinilor \u2014 \u00een loc de monitorizarea constant\u0103 a timpului, Mcron utilizeaz\u0103 construirea sarcinilor \u00eentr-o coad\u0103 liniar\u0103 cu definirea \u00eent\u00e2rzierilor \u00eentre apelurile fiec\u0103rui element din coad\u0103. \u00cen perioadele dintre activarea sarcinilor, Mcron este complet inactiv.
