Nodurile peer se conecteaz\u0103 aleatoriu la pornire \u0219i se reconecteaz\u0103 la noi noduri peer (aleatorii) pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce este necesar.<\/p>\n<p>Interfa\u021ba utilizatorului FreePN (freepn-gtk3-tray) suport\u0103 \u00een prezent medii compatibile XDG bazate pe GTK3, cum ar fi Gnome, Unity, XFCE \u0219i derivatele acestora.<\/p>\n<p>FreePN nu este o solu\u021bie complet\u0103 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/ro\/vpn\/\"   title=\"VPN\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"139\">VPN<\/a> (cum ar fi openvpn sau vpnc) \u0219i nu necesit\u0103 configurarea unor chei sau certificate prealabile. Traficul pe leg\u0103turile re\u021belei FreePN este \u00eentotdeauna criptat, totu\u0219i, deoarece fiecare leg\u0103tur\u0103 de re\u021bea este independent\u0103, traficul trebuie decriptat la ie\u0219irea din fiecare gazd\u0103 peer. Atunci c\u00e2nd func\u021bioneaz\u0103 \u00een mod \u201epeer-to-peer\u201d, se presupune c\u0103 fiecare nod peer este o gazd\u0103 nesecurizat\u0103; \u00een modul \u201eadhoc\u201d, nodurile pot fi considerate de \u00eencredere (deoarece apar\u021bin utilizatorului).
