IPFS combin\u0103 idei deja implementate \u00een astfel de sisteme precum Git, BitTorrent, Kademlia, SFS \u0219i Web, fiind similar cu un \u201epirat\u201d BitTorrent unic (partajatori care particip\u0103 la distribu\u021bie), care schimb\u0103 obiecte Git. IPFS se distinge prin adresarea \u00een func\u021bie de con\u021binut, nu de locul de depozitare sau nume arbitrare. Codul implement\u0103rii de referin\u021b\u0103 este scris \u00een limbajul Go \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021bele Apache 2.0 \u0219i MIT.    <\/p>\n<p>\u00cen noua versiune:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost implementat\u0103 op\u021biunea de a crea servicii externe pentru a fixa datele utilizatorilor (pinning \u2014 legarea datelor de un nod pentru a garanta c\u0103 datele importante sunt p\u0103strate).
