Pericolul acestei vulnerabilit\u0103\u021bi depinde \u00een mare m\u0103sur\u0103 de context, dar nu se exclude organizarea de atacuri asupra anumitor aplica\u021bii care folosesc REXML.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2021-28966 \u2014 o vulnerabilitate specific\u0103 platformei Windows, care permite crearea unui director sau fi\u0219ier arbitrar \u00een p\u0103r\u021bile sistemului de fi\u0219iere unde utilizatorului asociat cu procesul Ruby \u00eei sunt permise scrierea. Problema este cauzat\u0103 de gestionarea eronat\u0103 a prefixului \u00een metoda Dir.mktmpdir, unde nu se exclude substitu\u021bia unor construc\u021bii de tipul \u201e..\\\u201d.
