Do test builds of Chrome Canary have the feature of automatic password change based on AI. This option is enabled in the 'Experimental AI Features' section (chrome:\/\/settings\/ai). If a password is deemed compromised, Chrome will issue a warning when trying to log in with that password, offering to change it. If agreed, the browser will generate a strong password, change it on the site, and save the new password in the password manager. <\/p>\n

The check for compromised passwords stored in the password manager appeared in Chrome about 5 years ago and is based on checking logins and passwords against a database of compromised accounts. The size of Google's database is not disclosed, but a similar database from the project haveibeenpwned.com covers about 15 billion accounts that have been involved in user data leaks. To maintain privacy, a prefix hash check is used on the user's side, and the passwords and their full hashes are not transmitted externally. The application of AI in the proposed testing of the new implementation is aimed at automating password changes on websites \u2014 AI will automatically fill out and submit the required web forms on the necessary site and update the saved password.
