Hyprland — Wayland compositor, a dynamic frame window manager written in C++ and based on Aquamarine (up to version 0.42.0 it was based on wlroots).
The developers also mention the release hyprutils 0.50.
Critical changes:
master:always_center_master has been replaced with the more flexible master:slave_count_for_center_master (no primary/secondary!)

- Experimental support for HDR and color management has been added.
- Fixed corner rounding for windows.
- A negative: flag has been added to the settings for opposite regular expression matching.
- A new tag selector has been added to identify windows by tag.
- The cyclenext command has been enhanced with a visible argument to restrict cycling to only visible windows.
- A —verify-config option has been added to check the correctness of the configuration file.
- V hyprpm has added the ability to reload all plugins.
- Some internal subsystems related to memory operation, rendering, and application of animated effects have been rewritten.
- Work has been done to speed up regular expression operations through caching of the compiled representation.
- In XWayland, issues with clipboard and Drag&Drop mode have been resolved.
- Several innovations have been implemented, namely: hyprland_surface (already used in quickshell) and hyprland_lock_notify, which should allow hypridle to make the system wait until the lock starts before going into suspend, avoiding the appearance of the desktop for a moment after resuming work.
And probably the most discussed part of the news:
