• JS motor SpiderMonkey has received a major update codenamed Warp, resulting in improved security, performance (up to 15% increase), page responsiveness (up to 12%), and reduced memory usage (by 8%). For example, loading Google Docs has accelerated by approximately 20%.
• The 'HTTPS-only' mode is considered sufficiently ready (now it accounts for addresses within the local network where applying HTTPS is often impossible, and upon unsuccessful attempts to access HTTPS, it offers the user to use HTTP). This mode is enabled in the graphical settings interface. Websites that do not support HTTPS can be added to the exceptions list (by clicking the lock icon in the address bar).
• The 'picture-in-picture' mode supports keyboard control.
• The second major update of the address bar:
  • Icons of search engines are displayed immediately, before starting to input a query.
  • Clicking on the search engine icon no longer leads to an immediate search of the entered text, but only selects this search engine (so that the user can choose another search engine, see suggestions, refine the query). The old behavior is available via Shift+Left Click.
  • When entering the address of any of the existing search engines, it will be offered to set it as current.
  • Search icons for bookmarks, open tabs, and history have been added.
• The PDF viewer now supports AcroForm, allowing users to fill out, print, and save forms within PDF documents.
• HTTP authentication windows no longer block the browser interface (they are now attached to the tab).
• A context menu item 'Print selection' has been added.
• A setting has been added to disable media control from the keyboard/headset.
• Firefox will automatically delete cookies from sites caught tracking users if the user hasn’t interacted with the site for the past 30 days.
• A feature to hide the 'Top sites' header on the new tab page (browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.hideTopSitesTitle) has been added, as well as to hide sponsored sites from the top (browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.showSponsoredTopSites).
• The screen sharing interface has been improved, making it easier for users to understand which devices are being shared.

• Экранные чтецы теперь корректно распознают параграфы в Google Docs и перестали воспринимать знаки препинания как часть слова в режиме чтения по одному слову. Стрелки на клавиатуре теперь работают правильно после переключения на окно «картинка в картинке» с помощью Alt+Tab.
• На устройствах с сенсорными экранами (Windows) и тачпадами (macOS) масштабирование при помощи щипка теперь ведёт себя так, как это реализовано в Chromium и Safari. (масштабируется не вся страница, а только текущая область).
• В эмуляторе Rosetta 2 налажена работа на новейших компьютерах Apple с macOS Big Sur и процессорами ARM.
• На платформе macOS значительно снижено потребление энергии при восстановлении сеанса в свернутом окне браузера.
• Началось постепенное включение WebRender для пользователей Windows 7 и 8, а также для пользователей macOS 10.12 — 10.15.
• HTML/XML:
  • Ссылки вида теперь поддерживают атрибут crossorigin.
  • Все элементы MathML теперь имеют поддержку атрибута displaystyle.
• CSS:
  • :-moz-any() теперь является ссылкой на :is().
  • Dodana je podpora za конические градиенты CSS..
• JavaScript: реализована поддержка свойства Intl[@@toStringTag], возвращающий значение по умолчанию Intl.
• Orodja za razvijalce:
  • В Инспектор добавлен значок «прокручиваемый»..
