CinelerraGG — fork nonlinear video editor Cinelerra with the most frequent releases (once a month). Notable features in this release:
- Hotkeys for saving the session (CTRL-S) and undoing (CTRL-Z) have been added, in addition to the existing s and z.
- A new type of keyframes — bump keyframes. They allow creating sharply changing parameters, such as fade or speed.
- When using a speed curve (moving the keyframe with the left mouse button held down), the future length of the track is visually drawn.
- Languages can be switched through settings, not just through environment variables.
- Improvements in the timecode alignment function.
- New plugins from ffmpeg: minterpolate (fps change, slow), allrgb (all colors possible in RGB), allyuv (all colors possible in YUV), cellauto, pullup (reverse telecine), selectivecolor (does the same as the Photoshop plugin of the same name), tonemap.
Known bugs:
- If you select an area on the timeline that has several keyframes (for example, fades), but leave a few outside the selected area — when selecting the 'Delete keyframes' option with the 'Keyframes follow edits' option enabled, the keyframes will shift. Temporary solution: disable the 'Keyframes follow edits' option while deleting keyframes in the selected area.
Update: the bug has been promptly fixed in git..
