Korenski deo se montira u re\u017eimu samo za \u010ditanje i ne menja se tokom rada. U okru\u017eenju se primenjuje mehanizam atomskog instaliranja a\u017euriranja. Za razliku od atomskih a\u017euriranja zasnovanih na ostree i snap, kori\u0161\u0107enih u Fedori i Ubuntuu, u ALP-u se umesto izrade odvojenih atomski slika i implementacije dodatne infrastrukturne isporuke koriste standardni paket menad\u017eer i mehanizam snimaka u Btrfs datote\u010dnom sistemu.     <\/p>\n<p>Predviden je prilagodljiv na\u010din samodejne namestitve posodobitev (na primer lahko omogo\u010dite samodejno namestitev le popravkov kriti\u010dnih ranljivosti ali se vrnete na ro\u010dno potrditev namestitve posodobitev). Za posodobitev jedra Linux brez ponovnega zagonjenja in prekinitev delovanja podpirajo \u017eive popravke.
