Glavna ideja je uporaba programske opreme za Linux brez Linuxa. OS je zdru\u017eljiv s POSIX in deluje na ve\u010d platformah (ARM, MIPS, x86, RISC-V, Microblaze, SPARC, PowerPC, E2K), ima analogne ukaze . \/configure; make; make install, ter podpira C++. Podprti so razli\u010dni datote\u010dni sistemi: FAT, ext2\/3\/4, ter podpora za omre\u017eja, grafi\u010dne in druge sistemske sklade. Na voljo so priljubljeni programi: Python, Lisp TCL, Ruby, Lua, JS, Scheme.<\/p>\n<p>OS je napisana v jeziku C, se odlikuje s fleksibilno konfigurabilnostjo na ravni izvorne kode in ima analog opisa strojne opreme device tree. To poenostavi ustvarjanje kon\u010dnih naprav na osnovi projekta.<\/p>\n<p>Embox se distribuira pod pogoji dvojnice BSD licence.<\/p>\n<p> <noindex><noindex><\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/reestr.digital.gov.ru\/reestr\/3098381\/\">Embox je vklju\u010den v register ruskih programskih re\u0161itev.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/noindex> <\/p>\n<p>Posebej izpostavljamo dodajanje podpore za ruski mikrokontroler K1921\u0412\u04131\u0422 podjetja \u041d\u0418\u0418\u042d\u0422, ter platformo letalskega kontrolerja Sky-vega-lite podjetja \u010cisto nebo (obe podjetji so del G\u041a \u042d\u043b\u0435\u043c\u0435\u043d\u0442), prav tako pa izbolj\u0161anje podpore za projekt Ardupilot in izbolj\u0161anje podpore za ruske \u010dipe.
