The project focuses on quality design aimed at creating a user-friendly system that consumes minimal resources and ensures high boot speed. Users are offered the proprietary Pantheon desktop environment. For downloading <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/fra1.dl.elementary.io\/download\/MTU5MTI5MDc4NQ==\/elementaryos-5.1-stable.20200603.iso\">so pripravljene<\/a><\/noindex> bootable ISO images (1.5 GB), available for the amd64 architecture (when downloading from <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/elementary.io\/\">spletne strani<\/a><\/noindex>, for free download, you need to enter 0 in the donation amount field).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Pri razvoju izvirnih komponent Elementary OS se uporabljata GTK3, jezik Vala in lastni okvir Granite. Kot osnovo distribucije uporabljajo dose\u017eke projekta Ubuntu. Na ravni paketov in podpore repozitorijev je Elementary OS 5.1.x zdru\u017eljiv z Ubuntu 18.04. Med aplikacijami je ve\u010dina lastnega razvoja projekta, kot so emulator terminala Pantheon Terminal, upravitelj datotek Pantheon Files, urejevalnik besedil <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=47853\">Koda<\/a><\/noindex> in glasbeni predvajalnik Music (Noise). V na\u010dinu ogledovanja seznamov datotek je omogo\u010deno prikazovanje pojavnega okna z informacijami o datoteki, kar omogo\u010da, da hitro ocenite lo\u010dljivost slike, ne da bi odprli ogledovalnik. Dodana je mo\u017enost cikli\u010dnega preklapljanja rezultatov iskanja s tipko &#171;tabulator&#187;.
