Daniel Robbins (drobbins) announced that he has decided to end the Funtoo Linux project: "All Good Things Must Come to an EndâŠ".
PĂ«rmbledhje:
- drobbins is tired;
- there is no new BDFL;
- he will not look for a successor or transfer the project;
- Funtoo Linux will exist in some form until the end of August.
An unpleasant but expected decision against the backdrop of Daniel's decreasing activity.
It all started with the shutdown of the project's Jira bug tracker a couple of days ago. Whether there was any drama in the bug tracker or Discord before that is unknown.
