Version 8.10 of the Memtest86+ memory testing program is now available. This software is not tied to any operating system and can be launched directly from the BIOS/UEFI firmware or from a bootloader to perform a complete memory check. If issues are detected, the built-in Memtest86+ memory fault map can be used in the Linux kernel to exclude problematic areas using the memmap option. The project code is distributed under the GPLv2 license.
