Podroid — running Linux containers on Android without root access

The Podroid application allows users to run a lightweight Alpine Linux virtual machine on Android devices using QEMU, providing a fully functional container runtime environment. Podman with a built-in terminal.

The application uses Termux as the terminal emulator for its operations, Limbo Emulator — a QEMU-based emulator for Android, Podman for launching containers with Alpine Linux.

Notable features include port forwarding from the container to the actual Android system via SSH.

The application requires Android 9+ on arm64.
