Projekti Stockfish njoftoi arritjen e nj\u00eb marr\u00ebveshjeje n\u00eb mosmarr\u00ebveshjen gjyq\u00ebsore me kompanin\u00eb ChessBase, e cila ishte akuzuar p\u00ebr shkeljen e licenc\u00ebs GPLv3 p\u00ebr shkak t\u00eb p\u00ebrfshirjes n\u00eb produktet e saj pron\u00ebsore Fat Fritz 2 dhe Houdini 6 t\u00eb kodit nga motori i shahut t\u00eb lir\u00eb Stockfish pa hapur kodin burimor t\u00eb pun\u00ebs derivate dhe pa njoftuar klient\u00ebt p\u00ebr p\u00ebrdorimin e kodit GPL. Marr\u00ebveshja parashikon anullimin e revokimit t\u00eb licenc\u00ebs GPL t\u00eb ChessBase p\u00ebr kodin Stockfish dhe i ofron k\u00ebsaj kompanie mund\u00ebsin\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb shp\u00ebrndar\u00eb softuerin e saj. <\/p>\n

N\u00eb kuad\u00ebr t\u00eb marr\u00ebveshjes s\u00eb arritur, kompania ChessBase do t\u00eb ndal\u00eb shitjen e programeve t\u00eb shahut q\u00eb p\u00ebrdorin motorin Stockfish dhe do t'i njoftoj\u00eb klient\u00ebt p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb p\u00ebrmes publikimit t\u00eb informacionit n\u00eb faqen e saj t\u00eb internetit. Klient\u00ebt ekzistues do t\u00eb mund t\u00eb vazhdojn\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrdorin programet e blera tashm\u00eb, si dhe do t\u00eb mund t\u00eb shkarkojn\u00eb kopjet e blera, n\u00ebse ChessBase e p\u00ebrshtat procesin e shkarkimit n\u00eb p\u00ebrputhje me k\u00ebrkesat e GPL-s\u00eb. Nj\u00eb vit pas n\u00ebnshkrimit t\u00eb marr\u00ebveshjes, zhvilluesit e Stockfish do t\u00eb anulojn\u00eb revokimin e licenc\u00ebs GPL dhe do t\u00eb ofrojn\u00eb mund\u00ebsin\u00eb e p\u00ebrdorimit t\u00eb kodit t\u00eb tyre nga kompania ChessBase, e cila pranoi r\u00ebnd\u00ebsin\u00eb dhe potencialin e softuerit t\u00eb lir\u00eb dhe dha angazhimin p\u00ebr t\u00eb respektuar parimet e tij. <\/p>\n

GPL parashikon mund\u00ebsin\u00eb e revokimit t\u00eb licenc\u00ebs te shkel\u00ebsi dhe pezullimin e t\u00eb gjitha t\u00eb drejtave t\u00eb licencuarit, q\u00eb i jan\u00eb dh\u00ebn\u00eb atij nga kjo licenc\u00eb. N\u00eb p\u00ebrputhje me rregullat e pranuara n\u00eb GPLv3 p\u00ebr shp\u00ebrb\u00ebrjen e licenc\u00ebs, n\u00ebse shkeljet jan\u00eb identifikuar p\u00ebr her\u00eb t\u00eb par\u00eb dhe jan\u00eb korrigjuar brenda 30 dit\u00ebve nga njoftimi, t\u00eb drejtat mbi licenc\u00ebn rindizen, dhe licenca nuk revokohet plot\u00ebsisht (kontrata mbetet e paprekur).
