\u00cbsht\u00eb formuar nj\u00eb l\u00ebshim i deg\u00ebs eksperimentale t\u00eb veglave p\u00ebr menaxhimin e paketave APT 2.7 (Advanced Package Tool), mbi t\u00eb cil\u00ebn, pas stabilizimit, do t\u00eb p\u00ebrgatitet nj\u00eb l\u00ebshim stabil 2.8, i cili do t\u00eb integrohet n\u00eb Debian Testing dhe do t\u00eb hyj\u00eb n\u00eb l\u00ebshimin e Debian 13; gjithashtu do t\u00eb shtohet n\u00eb baz\u00ebn e paketave t\u00eb Ubuntu. P\u00ebrve\u00e7 Debian-it dhe distribucioneve t\u00eb tij t\u00eb nxjerra, forku APT-RPM gjithashtu p\u00ebrdoret n\u00eb disa distribucione t\u00eb bazuara n\u00eb menaxherin e paketave rpm, si PCLinuxOS dhe ALT Linux. <\/p>\n

N\u00eb numrin e ri, \u00ebsht\u00eb shtuar mb\u00ebshtetje fillestare p\u00ebr snapshots, e menaxhuar nga opsioni «—snapshot» («-S»), me t\u00eb cilin mund t\u00eb aksesohen serverat e arkivave q\u00eb mb\u00ebshtesin snapshots dhe t\u00eb zgjidhet nj\u00eb gjendje e caktuar e arkivave. P\u00ebr shembull, duke treguar «—snapshot 20230502T030405Z» mund t\u00eb punoni me nj\u00eb kopje t\u00eb gjendjes s\u00eb arkivave, e cila ishte regjistruar m\u00eb 2 maj 2023 n\u00eb 03:04:05. Snapshots konfigurohen n\u00eb seksionin APT::Snapshot n\u00eb skedar\u00ebt sources-list. N\u00eb versionin e ri \u00ebsht\u00eb implementuar gjithashtu opsioni «—update» («-U»), i cili gjat\u00eb ekzekutimit t\u00eb komandave p\u00ebr instalimin ose azhurnimin e paketave (apt install ose apt upgrade) automatikisht fillon operacionin «apt update» p\u00ebr t\u00eb sinkronizuar indekset para hapjes s\u00eb caches dhe p\u00ebrpunimit t\u00eb sources.list.
