N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb version \u00ebsht\u00eb filluar t\u00eb b\u00ebhen ndryshime q\u00eb parashikojn\u00eb mb\u00ebshtetje n\u00eb t\u00eb ardhmen p\u00ebr ndalimin e \u00e7el\u00ebsave t\u00eb bazuar n\u00eb algoritmin DSA. OpenSSH 9.7 ofron nj\u00eb opsion p\u00ebr t\u00eb \u00e7aktivizuar DSA gjat\u00eb faz\u00ebs s\u00eb kompilimit, por nd\u00ebrtimi i paracaktuar ende e mb\u00ebshtet DSA. N\u00eb versionin e ardhsh\u00ebm, t\u00eb planifikuar p\u00ebr qershor, m\u00ebnyra e nd\u00ebrtimit do t\u00eb ndryshoj\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb \u00e7aktivizuar DSA si parazgjedhje, dhe n\u00eb fillim t\u00eb vitit 2025, implementimi i DSA do t\u00eb hiqet nga baza e kodit.       <\/p>\n<p>P\u00ebr shfryt\u00ebzimin e \u00e7el\u00ebsave DSA \u00ebsht\u00eb ndaluar q\u00eb n\u00eb vitin 2015, por kodi p\u00ebr mb\u00ebshtetje t\u00eb DSA \u00ebsht\u00eb nd\u00ebrtuar si parazgjedhje dhe ka lejuar rikthimin e DSA p\u00ebrmes konfigurimeve. E r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishme \u00ebsht\u00eb se algoritmi DSA \u00ebsht\u00eb i vetmi i detyruesh\u00ebm p\u00ebr t'u zbatuar n\u00eb protokollin SSHv2. Kjo k\u00ebrkes\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb shtuar, pasi gjat\u00eb krijimit dhe miratimit t\u00eb protokollit SSHv2, t\u00eb gjith\u00eb algoritm\u00ebt alternativ\u00eb ishin n\u00ebn mbrojtjen e patentave. Q\u00eb nga at\u00ebher\u00eb, situata ka ndryshuar; patentat q\u00eb lidhen me RSA kan\u00eb skaduar, \u00ebsht\u00eb shtuar algoritmi ECDSA, i cili tejkalon ndjesh\u00ebm DSA n\u00eb performanc\u00eb dhe siguri, si dhe EdDSA, i cili \u00ebsht\u00eb m\u00eb i sigurt dhe m\u00eb i shpejt\u00eb se ECDSA.     <\/p>\n<p>Faktori i vet\u00ebm p\u00ebr vazhdimin e mb\u00ebshtetjes DSA ka qen\u00eb ruajtja e kompatibilitetit me pajisje t\u00eb vjetra. N\u00eb realitetet e sotme, kostot p\u00ebr vazhdimin e mb\u00ebshtetjes s\u00eb algoritmit t\u00eb pasigurt DSA nuk e justifikojn\u00eb veten dhe heqja e tij do t\u00eb stimuloj\u00eb ndalimin e mb\u00ebshtetjes DSA n\u00eb implementime t\u00eb tjera t\u00eb SSH dhe biblioteka kriptografike.       <\/p>\n<p>P\u00ebrve\u00e7 ndryshimeve q\u00eb lidhen me DSA, n\u00eb versionin e ri propozohet nj\u00eb lloj i ri koh\u00ebsh p\u00ebrcaktimi n\u00eb ssh dhe sshd, i aktivizuar p\u00ebrmes vakant\u00ebs \"global\" n\u00eb direktiv\u00ebn ChannelTimeout. N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb mod, OpenSSH monitoron t\u00eb gjitha kanalet e hapura dhe i mbyll ato nj\u00ebkoh\u00ebsisht, n\u00ebse nuk ka trafik n\u00eb to brenda nj\u00eb periudhe t\u00eb caktuar. P\u00ebr shembull, kur n\u00eb host hapen kanale p\u00ebr nj\u00eb seanc\u00eb SSH dhe p\u00ebr redirektimin x11, moda e re lejon mbylljen e t\u00eb dy kanaleve menj\u00ebher\u00eb n\u00ebse ato jan\u00eb t\u00eb pasive, n\u00eb vend q\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrcaktohet ndaras koha p\u00ebr \u00e7do kanal.
