Pas k\u00ebsaj, Theo de Raadt me nj\u00eb grup mb\u00ebshtet\u00ebsish krijoi nj\u00eb sistem operativ t\u00eb ri t\u00eb hapur mbi baz\u00ebn e pem\u00ebs s\u00eb kodit burimor t\u00eb NetBSD, me q\u00ebllimet kryesore t\u00eb zhvillimit q\u00eb jan\u00eb portabiliteti (mb\u00ebshtetur nga 13 platforma harduerike), standardizimi, puna e sakt\u00eb, siguria proaktive dhe mjetet e integruara kriptografike.
