U prezantua revizioni i projektit Aura 4.0.0, q\u00eb zhvillon menaxherin e paketave p\u00ebr distribucionin Arch Linux, duke zgjeruar mund\u00ebsit\u00eb e menaxherit t\u00eb zakonsh\u00ebm t\u00eb paketave Pacman. Projekti u krijua n\u00eb vitin 2012 dhe fillimisht kishte si q\u00ebllim ofrimin e mjeteve p\u00ebr nd\u00ebrtimin e paketave p\u00ebr repositorin AUR (Arch User Repository), i p\u00ebrdorur p\u00ebr shp\u00ebrndarjen e paketave nga zhvillues t\u00eb tret\u00eb q\u00eb nuk p\u00ebrfshihen n\u00eb repositor\u00ebt kryesor\u00eb t\u00eb distribucionit Arch Linux. Kodi i projektit shp\u00ebrndahet sipas licenc\u00ebs GPLv3. <\/p>\n

P\u00ebrve\u00e7 funksioneve specifike p\u00ebr AUR, Aura gjithashtu ofron mund\u00ebsi t\u00eb tjera, q\u00eb zgjerojn\u00eb funksionalitetin e Pacman (aktualisht vet\u00ebm 1\/3 e mund\u00ebsive t\u00eb avancuara t\u00eb Aura jan\u00eb t\u00eb lidhura me AUR). P\u00ebr shembull, ofrohen mjete p\u00ebr analiz\u00ebn vizuale t\u00eb var\u00ebsive, pun\u00ebn me snapshot-e t\u00eb grupeve t\u00eb paketave (p\u00ebr ruajtjen dhe rikuperimin e gjendjes), menaxhimin e var\u00ebsive mbetje dhe rikthimin e paketimeve individuale ose t\u00eb gjith\u00eb sistemit n\u00eb versionet e kaluara. <\/p>\n

Menaxheri i Paketave Aura \u00ebsht\u00eb plot\u00ebsisht i pajtuesh\u00ebm me Pacman dhe mb\u00ebshtet t\u00eb gjitha komandat dhe opsionet e tij (Aura mund t\u00eb p\u00ebrdoret si nj\u00eb z\u00ebvend\u00ebsim p\u00ebr Pacman me funksione t\u00eb zgjeruara). Mund\u00ebsit\u00eb e lidhura me AUR aktivizohen duke specifikuar opsionin e linj\u00ebs s\u00eb komand\u00ebs «-A», nd\u00ebrsa mjetet p\u00ebr pun\u00ebn me snapshot-et dhe versionet p\u00ebrmes opsioneve «-B» dhe «-C», t\u00eb cilat nuk nd\u00ebrhyjn\u00eb me opsionet e Pacman.
