Projekti ka fituar njohuri si 'ZFS on Linux' dhe m\u00eb par\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb kufizuar n\u00eb zhvillimin e nj\u00eb moduli p\u00ebr kernelin Linux, por pas bashkimit me kodin nga FreeBSD u pranuar si realizimi kryesor i OpenZFS dhe u riem\u00ebrua.     <\/p>\n<p>Puna e OpenZFS \u00ebsht\u00eb verifikuar me b\u00ebrthamat Linux nga 4.18 deri n\u00eb 6.12 dhe t\u00eb gjitha deg\u00ebt e FreeBSD, duke filluar nga 13.3. Kodi shp\u00ebrndahet n\u00ebn licenc\u00ebn e lir\u00eb CDDL. OpenZFS tashm\u00eb p\u00ebrdoret n\u00eb FreeBSD dhe \u00ebsht\u00eb pjes\u00eb e shp\u00ebrndarjeve Debian, Ubuntu, Gentoo, NixOS dhe ALT Linux. Paketat me versionin e ri do t\u00eb p\u00ebrgatiten s\u00eb shpejti p\u00ebr shp\u00ebrndarjet kryesore t\u00eb Linux, duke p\u00ebrfshir\u00eb Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, RHEL\/CentOS.      <\/p>\n<p>OpenZFS ofron implementimin e komponent\u00ebve ZFS, t\u00eb lidhura me funksionimin e sistemit t\u00eb skedar\u00ebve dhe menaxherit t\u00eb volumit. Jan\u00eb implementuar komponent\u00ebt: SPA (Storage Pool Allocator), DMU (Data Management Unit), ZVOL (ZFS Emulated Volume) dhe ZPL (ZFS POSIX Layer). Projekti gjithashtu lejon p\u00ebrdorimin e ZFS si backend p\u00ebr sistemin e skedar\u00ebve klaster Lustre. Arritjet e OpenZFS jan\u00eb t\u00eb bazuara n\u00eb kodin origjinal ZFS, t\u00eb importuar nga projekti OpenSolaris dhe t\u00eb zgjeruara me p\u00ebrmir\u00ebsime dhe korrigjime nga komuniteti Illumos. Projekti zhvillohet me pjes\u00ebmarrjen e punonj\u00ebsve t\u00eb Laboratorit Komb\u00ebtar Livermore n\u00eb nj\u00eb kontrat\u00eb me Departamentin e Energjis\u00eb t\u00eb SHBA.    <\/p>\n<p>Kodi shp\u00ebrndahet n\u00ebn nj\u00eb licenc\u00eb t\u00eb lir\u00eb CDDL, e cila \u00ebsht\u00eb e papajtueshme me GPLv2, e cila nuk lejon integrimin e OpenZFS n\u00eb deg\u00ebn kryesore t\u00eb b\u00ebrtham\u00ebs Linux, pasi kombinimi i kodave n\u00ebn licencat GPLv2 dhe CDDL \u00ebsht\u00eb i papranuesh\u00ebm. P\u00ebr t\u00eb anashkaluar papajtueshm\u00ebrin\u00eb e licenc\u00ebs, u vendos t\u00eb shp\u00ebrndahet produkti p\u00ebr Linux t\u00ebr\u00ebsisht n\u00ebn licenc\u00ebn CDDL si nj\u00eb modul q\u00eb ngarkohet ve\u00e7mas, i ofruar ndaras nga b\u00ebrthama. Stabiliteti i baz\u00ebs s\u00eb kodit t\u00eb OpenZFS vler\u00ebsohet si ngjash\u00ebm me sistemet e tjera t\u00eb skedar\u00ebve p\u00ebr Linux.     <\/p>\n<p>Ndryshimet kryesore:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00ebsht\u00eb realizuar mund\u00ebsia e shtimit n\u00eb fluks t\u00eb disqeve t\u00eb rinj n\u00eb nj\u00eb grup ekzistues RAIDZ p\u00ebr t\u00eb rritur madh\u00ebsin\u00eb e magazin\u00ebs pa ndaluar pun\u00ebn dhe pa nevoj\u00ebn p\u00ebr t\u00eb krijuar nj\u00eb grup t\u00eb ri ruajt\u00ebsish. Rredistribuimi i t\u00eb dh\u00ebnave t\u00eb tep\u00ebrta duke marr\u00eb parasysh disqet e rinj b\u00ebhet automatikisht. P\u00ebr t\u00eb shtuar nj\u00eb disk n\u00eb grupin ekzistues mund t\u00eb p\u00ebrdoret komanda 'zpool attach POOL raidzP-N NEW_DEVICE', nd\u00ebrsa p\u00ebr t\u00eb ndjekur p\u00ebrfundimin e procesit t\u00eb sfondit t\u00eb zgjerimit t\u00eb grupit - 'zpool status'.\n<li class=\"l\"> Ekzekutimi i operacioneve t\u00eb lidhura me dedupikimin e bllok\u00ebve t\u00eb t\u00eb dh\u00ebnave \u00ebsht\u00eb p\u00ebrshpejtuar ndjesh\u00ebm. Optimizimet, nd\u00ebr t\u00eb tjera, kan\u00eb prekur formatin e tabelave t\u00eb dedupikimit, prandaj p\u00ebr t\u00eb aktivizuar optimizimet e propozuara n\u00eb grupet ekzistuese, \u00ebsht\u00eb e nevojshme t\u00eb aktivizohet opsioni 'fast_dedup', pas s\u00eb cil\u00ebs do t\u00eb krijohen tabela t\u00eb reja dedupikimi q\u00eb do t\u00eb p\u00ebrdoren paralelisht me ato t\u00eb vjetra.\n<li class=\"l\"> Shtuar nj\u00eb mod t\u00eb hyrjes dhe daljes direkte (Direct IO), i cili lejon t\u00eb kryhen operacione lexim dhe shkrimi p\u00ebrmes keshit ARC (Adaptive Replacement Cache).
