As in MongoDB, for storing structured documents in DocumentDB, a JSON-like format BSON (Binary JSON) is used, allowing the creation of hierarchical structures in which one document and arrays can be embedded within other documents and arrays. The key difference from JSON is the use of binary representation for data serialization. The project offers both NoSQL operations for creating, reading, updating, and deleting data in BSON format, as well as an API for standard PostgreSQL (DocumentDB can be viewed as a variant of PostgreSQL with BSON support). Full-text search capabilities, operations on vector and geospatial data types can be utilized in DocumentDB. <\/p>\n

pg_documentdb_core \u2014 an extension to PostgreSQL implementing the BSON type and operations for working with BSON data in PostgreSQL.\n
pg_documentdb \u2014 a public API for DocumentDB with basic operations for working with documents in BSON format, processing queries, and managing indexes. <\/ul>\n

FerretDB lejon z\u00ebvend\u00ebsimin e DBMS MongoDB t\u00eb pronar\u00ebve me nj\u00eb stak t\u00eb hapur plot\u00ebsisht, t\u00eb bazuar n\u00eb PostgreSQL, pa b\u00ebr\u00eb ndryshime n\u00eb kodin e aplikacioneve. Fillimi i FerretDB p\u00ebrfshinte p\u00ebrkthimin e k\u00ebrkesave nga MongoDB n\u00eb pyetje SQL p\u00ebr PostgreSQL, por q\u00eb nga versioni FerretDB 2.0, i cili \u00ebsht\u00eb n\u00eb faz\u00ebn e kandidat\u00ebve p\u00ebr publikim, p\u00ebr implementimin e mb\u00ebshtetjes p\u00ebr formatin BSON \u00ebsht\u00eb p\u00ebrdorur zgjerimi DocumentDB i PostgreSQL. Kalimi n\u00eb p\u00ebrdorimin e DocumentDB ka lejuar p\u00ebrmir\u00ebsimin e performanc\u00ebs t\u00eb FerretDB m\u00eb shum\u00eb se 20 her\u00eb p\u00ebr disa lloje ngarkesash.
